Containers should be kept tightly sealed when not in use. The prime coat hydrolyzes upon contact with atmospheric moisture, and prolonged exposure will reduce or destroy its effectiveness. Once hydrolyzed, indicated by a milky appearance, the material cannot be reclaimed, and will contaminate any untreated prime coat with which it is mixed. A sealant adhesion mock-up is recommended to assure performance. Check container label and Specification Data Sheet for additional limitations.
