The popular CRL Plate Glass Lifter glaziers tool is used to lift or position large plates of glass for inserting setting blocks or shims. The Glass Lifter has an overall length of 10" (254 mm). The 7/8" (22 mm) lifting plate has a rubber pad to protect the edge of the glass. Every glazier should have this time saving tool. These work like a reverse pair of pliers to ease in lifting while reducing strain on your back. There is also a rubber pad that protects the glass from the metal pliers.
