    Streamlined styling, rugged construction, and the affordable price makes our CRL Upright Wet Belt Sander Without Roller Platen ideal for use by glass fabricators and processors. The CRL Wet Belt Sander is designed to use the most popular size 4" x 106" (102 mm x 2.69 m) wet or dry abrasive belts to sand edges to the desired finish. The CRL Cat. No. PA100 Platen Adapter (sold separately) is available and used for mounting a variety of optional platens to the AU2200.

    Features of the AU2200 Sanding Machine include: Direct drive, one H.P., 50 cycle, 220 Volt AC Motor and a 5" (127 mm) Diameter Drive Pulley.

    Our CRL 2200SS Belt Guard Safety Shield helps protect the operator in the event of accidental belt breakage. To solve the problem of water tank spray corrosion, we have replaced the steel tank with a Non-Rusting Polypro Water Tank.

    Belt Selection: CRL Wet Abrasive Belts in the 4 x 106" size are recommended for the AU2200. The most popular are the: Cat. No. CRL4X106120X 120X Grit Smooth Finish, and Cat. No. CRL4X10680X 80X Grit Rough Finish, but other grits from 36X (Super Coarse) to 600X (Super Fine) are available for this machine, along with Cork Belts for high polishing.

    Always wear the proper safety gear (CL0210, ES285X) when using any type of power tool. A ground fault circuit interrupt GF1 should be used with any type of wet working electric tool. At least two people are required to lift this machine off of the truck. NOTE: The Water Delivery System is designed for standard municipal water pressure. Low pressure submersible pumps may not provide enough pressure to properly cool and clean the Abrasive Belts.
