LOS ANGELES, CA — October 29, 2012 — C.R. Laurence has expanded its popular series of interior Sliding Glass Door Systems with the introduction of the new CRL51 Series, an extension of the CRL50 Series, featuring innovative pneumatic “Softbrake” technology.  The Softbrake gently cushions the opening and closing of the doors, while concealed in the top track. 

The CRL51 Series Ceiling Mount Sliding Glass Door System

The CRL51 and CRL50 Series accommodate 5/16” or 3/8”
(8 to 10 mm) tempered glass panels. For simple and quick
installation, the panels do not require holes or notches.  Both
series are top hung, with no bottom track, and offer a sleek
design, wall or ceiling mount, finger touch control, smooth and
silent operation, and 1/4" (6 mm) height adjustment to accommodate any irregularities in the surface at the floor.

The CRL51 Softbrake engages during the final 4” (102 mm)
of travel for a soft and quiet closing motion.  The CRL50 Series offers both synchronized and telescoping features. Different
models within both series can accommodate anywhere from
a single glass panel weighing up to 176 pounds (80 kg) up
